Any chance of obtaining source code? I've had similar interests in creating a new shell for years, but work keeps getting in the way. Brilliant concept!

Well done... But it hides the windows seven's taskbar, whitch makes the tray unavailliable. It'd be nice if it could display the desktop icons in a small row at the bottom with or without a title... And a config window would be welcomed :) Otherwise, the interface is very well done and i really like how it works out... Other floor shapes could be cool... Even using 64x64 icon files that windows uses that are located in the softwares's hex, having a tool that could detect its alpha channel and cuts a 3d shape under it, giving it thickness. Do you believe you could adapt plugins from linux's compiz fusion? Effects and aspects, mod ehm and have it to fit with your environement?
Another cool effect would be to have W7's taskbar and windows borders to have a 3d thickness :D

Your project will sure catch other coders's attention and get the required workforce to make this become something that maybe could be the core of windows 7.3! :D

Please send me a message via the provided e-mail to confirm the message's reading and to discuss possibilities further if wanted. :)

Hi Pnub; I have to admit I'd completely forgotten! But in fact this download only contains the gradient background option.

The number of downloads this thing gets though, I'm REALLY thinking about resurrecting and updating this badboy.... so watch this space!!
